Jennifer Orlando provides everything you need to know about MSU Homecoming 2015. This year’s homecoming theme “Spartans Take the World Stage” recognizes all that Spartans have accomplished on a variety of stages. Acclaimed orchestrator and arranger and 1955 MSU graduate, William Brohn, is this year’s homecoming grand marshal.

MSU Turfgrass guru Kevin Frank offers his autumn lawn care tips, too.

“This time of year is so effective at getting rid of weeds with herbicides that it hardly matters what kind you use. Just be sure you are applying the herbicides to the weeds and not the fallen leaves,” Frank says.

And Russ White introduces you to the man whose name is on the headquarters building for Spartan Football, Bob Skandalaris.

“We feel like when we give to Michigan State we can see the benefit that it brings to the university environment,” says Skandalaris.

And Russ talks with MSU’s new director of undergraduate entrepreneurship, Neil Kane.

Kane believes all the ingredients are in place at MSU to make it a leader in entrepreneurial activity. And he says entrepreneurship skills serve everyone, not just those interested in starting a business. He says that the skills one hones trying to start a business “have an enormous amount of relevance regardless of one’s career choice.”
